A strategic place for the Romans, Arthur and Urien of Rheged

Urien of Rheged was given the coastal region betweeen the River Towy and the River Cenfig (including the Gower) by Arthur as reward for his support. Urien's Summer Court was at Oxwich and his Winter Court at Loughor.
